Congratulations to Victoria Hatten on successfully defending her Master’s thesis, Assessing and Enhancing Carbon Dioxide Mineralization of Non-Mafic Mine Tailings and Thermally Activated Serpentinites! Victoria’s research explored new opportunities to use mine wastes for CO2 removal, including evaluating the carbonation potential of non-mafic mine tailings and developing strategies to enhance CO2 mineralization in thermally activated serpentinites.
